My Girl Scout Silver award project
My goal was to create an educational resource to help educate people that the education of the person and dog is just as important as the breed of a dog. I want to help people understand the importance of research and properly preparing when they want to adopt a dog or even purchase from a reputable breeder as breed and training will determine if the placement is a good one for all involved.
Mission
I have always loved animals especially dogs. While doing a project with my troop I learned that many dogs get rehomed because people did not know about the dog breed and how it would behave. Dogs like people are individuals so they will not always match breed standards. Education and Training will help ensure good dog ownership.
